A keypad is located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. The entry code will be provided to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

The drive to the house is accessible with GPS and guests typically do not have any issue locating the home.

The 06 Brickhouse Manual
Check-In:
Check-in is after 4pm unless otherwise agreed to via platform messaging.
We fully clean and turn over the property daily. That requires time to ensure it is done to our standard and your satisfaction.
Access:
The entrance to The 06 Brickhouse is located on the left side of the front entry. You will be required to ascend four steps to access the front door.
You will be issued a code for the electronic lock (found in the check-in instructions emailed/messaged to you the day before check-in). This code is valid during the agreed-upon check-in and check-out times (normally 4pm – 10am).
We have found the best way to use the lock is to press one of the buttons in the lower corners of the keypad. This will wake the lock up and allow you to fully see the keypad. Then punch in your unique code and the lock should open. Be sure not to touch any extra buttons or you will have to start over.
A $20 per hour early fee may be required for any early check-ins.
Check-Out:
When your stay is completed and you are ready to check out please do the following:
• Please DO NOT make beds.
• Leave all bedding and pillows on the beds. Please don’t wash.
• Place towels on the floor in the bathroom.
• Turn off all lights and small appliances.
• Set the heater to 65 and/or the air conditioners to 75.
• Clean dirty dishes and put them away. You can leave them drying in the dish drainer if needed.
• If you utilize the backyard, make sure the backdoor is locked.
• Report any damaged or missing items to your Hosts.
• Please be considerate of the cleaning crew and checkout by 10 am.

Quiet Time(s):
Quiet time is between 10PM and 7am; there is a local ordinance to this effect. Please refrain from outdoor activities during quiet time hours.
Smoking/Drug Policy:
There is no smoking, vaping, or drugs allowed anywhere on the property or around it.
Guest(s) of The 06 Brickhouse Residents:
We are perfectly happy having people pop by to pick you up, but you may not use The 06 Brickhouse to entertain them overnight. All overnight guests (Guests that remain on the property after 10pm) must be approved in advance through the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the listing.
Windows:
Please DO NOT open or close the windows as they are old and difficult to operate. Fans are available upon request.
Lights:
Bathroom/Hallway/Kitchen: Lights are on a motion sensor. Will come on when motion is detected. Lights time out at 5 min. Lights can be manually turned on/off by pressing the face switch.
Bedrooms: Lights turn on/off manually by pressing the face switch. Lights time out at 3 min. The motion sensor will not turn the lights on. There is one exception between 3:00-3:30 min.
Air Mattress:
The queen-size Air Mattress is located in the closet between the two bedrooms. There is a plug attached to the unit which you plug in to blow it up. The sheets, blanket, and pillows for the air mattress are located in the hallway closet. We have found the best place to blow it up is the living room. Simply push the loveseat out of the way and use the middle of the living room.
Back Yard & BBQ:
You can access the backyard through the side gate off the alleyway or through the back door for your enjoyment. If you use the BBQ please be sure to turn off the gas after each use (under grill) and scrape down the grill grates after each use. If the grill is left dirty a $25 cleaning fee will apply. Hammocks are available, upon request, for use in the backyard. Please also remember that this is a shared space so be respectful of guests staying in the 04, 08, or Studio Brickhouse and honor the quiet hours (10pm-7am). Please note some backyard items are put away during winter months.
Pets:
No Pets Please! We love entertaining pets however some guests have allergies and can not handle pets. For this reason, we have decided not to allow pets in The 06 Brickhouse. Thank you for your understanding.
Furniture:
Please do not move the furniture around (except to accommodate the placement of the air mattress) – even if you intend to put it back after your stay. If there is an accidental spill, please let us know and we will take steps to prevent further damage to the furniture.
Trash:
Please dispose of trash in the trash cans located inside the Brickhouse. If they become full during your stay, please take them to the outside cans located in the alleyway on the north side of the Brickhouse.
If you are willing, we would appreciate it if you could take the trash bins to the street on Wednesday evening and pull them back up to the alleyway on Thursday evening. If you are unable to do this, no biggie, just let us know and we can get it taken care of.
Iron/ironing board:
Iron is located in the hallway closet. The Ironing board is located in the kitchen inside the ironing cupboard. Please do not use iron on the furniture.
Heat/AC:
The heater thermostat is located by the kitchen entry (it takes a few minutes to kick on so be sure to set the desired temperature upon arrival).
Each room will have its own portable AC unit (during summer months). AC in each room can be set to individual desired settings. Please be considerate with your settings when you leave please turn to 75 F to conserve energy. Please do not move the units.
Bluetooth Speaker:
The Bluetooth speaker is located in the kitchen under the coffee bar. The name of the speaker is 06 Brickhouse Speaker.
Bathroom:
The bathroom lights are on a motion switch but the fan is located on the pull string. Simply pull the string to start the fan when taking a shower. Don’t forget to turn it off. Lights will time out after 15min of no motion or you can manually turn it off.
Television:
The 55” Smart TV is equipped with a ROKU and several streaming apps (Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Netflix). Feel free to log in with your own ID but be sure to log out upon checking out.
Linens:
Please do not eat in bed! Extra bedding is provided in case you need a change. The extra sheets are located in the drawers below the closet in each room. The linens for the air mattress are located in the hallway closet. We recommend guests reuse towels to aid in conserving water.
Laundry Room:
The laundry room is located downstairs and is a common area. Use the door in the kitchen to access the stairs. Locate the entry just past the bottom of the stairs on your left. There are complimentary Tide Pods for your convenience on the shelf in the kitchen. In case of an accident and the bedding/towels in your unit are not enough you may access extras here as well. Please note, there are two sets of washers and dryers. One set is designated specifically for the cleaners and laundry will be moved if this set is used. Please be respectful of our cleaners as they are working so hard to ensure you arrive at a fully clean house.
Coffee/Breakfast:
We provide a Keurig machine with coffee pods and a drip coffee machine for your enjoyment. Please find the Keurig pods, dairy-free creamer, sweetener, and additional coffee supplies at the coffee bar. You will need to bring your own ground coffee for the drip machine, however.
Reading Material/Games:
In the hallway closet is an assortment of reading materials appropriate for all ages. Board and card games can be found here as well. The bottom two drawers in the hallway closet contain kids’ toys and books.
Baby Items:
The highchair, pack-and-play, and baby gates can be found in the laundry room closet. The baby monitor is located in the hallway closet drawer. A set of toddler kitchen essentials is located in the kitchen cupboards.
Emergency:
The first aid kit is located in the top drawer of the closet that is closest to the bathroom. The fire extinguishers are located underneath the kitchen sink.
Exercise Equipment:
There are yoga mats located in the hallway closet. Please wipe down the mats after each use to ensure they are ready for the next guests.
Cleanings:
For your convenience mid-stay cleanings are available. If you request a cleaning during the middle of your stay, please be aware you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
Photographers:
Please disclose the type of sessions you are doing and the number of clients you will have in the brickhouse. Remember your clients will be your responsibility while in our home! Share your pictures with us!
