The 08 Brickhouse is part of a beautifully remodeled fourplex, designed with privacy and comfort in mind. A keypad is positioned at the front door for easy keyless entry. The entry code will be provided to you 24 hours before your arrival. The code is changed after each guest's stay and will be unique to you.

You'll find complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience. We recommend bringing additional items suited to the length of your stay.

Navigate effortlessly to our home using Apple Maps or Google Maps. Guests consistently find our location without any hassle.

Please note that a security camera is located at the front of the house facing the parking area and entrance for your safety. There are no cameras inside the property.

This perfect mid-century home offers you two beautiful bedrooms to rest your head for the night. All bedrooms are stylishly furnished with queen-sized beds and feature extra-comfortable Zinus memory foam mattresses. Our guests rave about our luxurious mattresses! There is also a couch that can accommodate an additional guest or child.

There is one full-sized bathroom complete with plush bath linens, shower towels, and additional towels.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to whip up tasty meals for the whole group, including an electric stove, toaster, blender, coffee machine, Keurig, and all the basic kitchen essentials like pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. Enjoy meals together at the kitchen table with seating for four.

We know how important a good cup of coffee is, so our dedicated coffee station features an automatic coffee machine and a drip coffee kettle. Enjoy coffee your way!

Our favorite feature of our peaceful mid-century house is the fully fenced backyard, which provides privacy and allows your furry friends to explore safely! We’ve lovingly created a private, relaxing space for you to enjoy.

For the ultimate experience, turn on the pretty string lights, light the fire pit (coming soon), and make some s’mores as the evening draws in. Stargazing is a must when you’re in Idaho, and you can do so at the pergola, where you can sway under the stars in a cozy hammock. This space has the potential to be shared with other guests of the Brickhouse properties.

House Manual

The 08 Brickhouse Manual

Check-In:
Check-in is after 4 pm unless otherwise agreed to via platform messaging.

We fully clean and turn over the property daily. That requires time to ensure it is done to our standard and your satisfaction.

Access:
The 08 Brickhouse's entrance is located on the right side of the front entry. You must ascend four steps to access the front door.

You will be issued a code for the electronic lock (found in the check-in instructions emailed/messaged to you the day before check-in). This code is valid during the agreed-upon check-in and check-out times (typically 4 pm - 10 am).

We have found the best way to use the lock is to press one of the buttons in the lower corners of the keypad. This will wake the lock up and allow you to see the keypad fully. Then punch in your unique code, and the lock should open. Be sure not to touch any extra buttons, or you will have to start over.

Any early check-ins may require a $20 per hour early fee.

Check-Out:
When your stay is completed and you are ready to check out, please do the following:
• Please DO NOT make beds.
• Leave all bedding and pillows on the beds. Please don’t wash.
• Place towels on the floor in the bathroom.
• Turn off all lights and small appliances.
• Set the heater to 65 and/or the air conditioners to 75.
• Clean dirty dishes and put them away. You can leave them drying in the dish drainer if needed.
• If you utilize the backyard, make sure the backdoor is locked.
• Report any damaged or missing items to your Hosts.
• Please be considerate of the cleaning crew and checkout by 10 am.

Quiet Time(s):
Quiet time is between 10 PM and 7 am; there is a local ordinance to this effect. Please refrain from outdoor activities during quiet time hours.

Smoking/Drug Policy:
There is no smoking, vaping, or drugs allowed anywhere on the property or around it.

Guest(s) of The 08 Brickhouse Residents:
We are delighted to have people pop by to pick you up, but you may not use The 08 Brickhouse to entertain them overnight. All overnight guests (Guests who remain on the property after 10 p.m.) must be approved in advance through the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the listing.

Windows:
Please do not open or close the windows as they are old and difficult to operate. Fans are available upon request.

Futon Couch:
The tan-colored couch along the wall is the futon couch. It has charging ports on the side, and if you plug it in, it also charges. The futon sheets, blanket, and pillow are located in the drawers next to the bathroom.

Back Yard & BBQ:
You can access the backyard through the side gate off the alleyway or the back door for enjoyment. If you use the BBQ, please turn off the gas (under the grill) after each use and scrape down the grill grates afterward. A $25 cleaning fee will be applied if the grill is left dirty. Hammocks are available, upon request, for use in the backyard. Please also remember that this is a shared space so be respectful of guests staying in the 04, 06, or Studio Brickhouse and honor the quiet hours (10 pm-7 am). Please note that some backyard items are put away during the winter months.

Pets
Please clean up after your pets. There are complimentary baggies for this purpose in the gazebo backyard. Please feel free to use them at your discretion to keep the yard clean. Please let us know if you use the last one so we can restock the supply.

We have pet towels in the laundry room for your furry little friends. Please feel free to use them to clean/dry your dog or use them as bedding. Please do not put pets on the furniture; this will result in an additional cleaning fee.

Furniture:
Please do not move the furniture around - even if you intend to put it back after your stay. If there is an accidental spill, please let us know and we will take steps to prevent further damage to the furniture.

Trash:
Please dispose of trash in the trash cans located inside the Brickhouse. If they become full during your stay, please take them out to the outside cans located in the alleyway on the north side of the Brickhouse.

If you are willing, we would appreciate it if you could take the trash/recycling bins to the street on Wednesday evening and pull them back up to the alleyway on Thursday evening. If you are unable to do this, no biggie; just let us know, and we can take care of it.

Iron/ironing board:
The iron is in the hallway closet. The Ironing board is in the kitchen, inside the ironing cupboard. Please do not use the iron on the furniture.

Heat/AC:
The heater thermostat is located by the kitchen entry (it takes a few minutes to kick on so be sure to set the desired temperature upon arrival).

Each room will have its portable AC unit (during summer months). The AC in each room can be set to the individual's desired settings. Please be considerate with your settings. When you leave, please turn the thermostat to 75 F to conserve energy. Please do not move the units.

Bluetooth Speaker:
The Bluetooth speaker is located under the television. The name of the speaker is 08 Brickhouse Speaker.

Bathroom:
The bathroom lights are on a switch, but the fan is located on the pull string. When taking a shower, simply pull the string to start the fan. Don’t forget to turn it off.

Television:
The 55” Smart TV has a ROKU and several streaming apps (Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Netflix). You can log in with your ID, but be sure to log out when you check out.

Linens:
Please do not eat in bed! Extra bedding is provided in case you need a change. The additional sheets are in the drawers below each room's closet. The linens for the air mattress are located in the hallway closet. We recommend that guests reuse towels to conserve water.

Laundry Room:
The laundry room is located downstairs and is a common area. Use the door in the kitchen to access the stairs. Locate the entry just past the bottom of the stairs on your left. There are complimentary Tide Pods for your convenience on the shelf in the kitchen. In case of an accident and the bedding/towels in your unit are insufficient, you may also access extras here. Please note, there are two sets of washers and dryers. One set is explicitly designated for the cleaners, and laundry will be moved if this set is used. Please respect our cleaners as they work hard to ensure you arrive at a spotless house.

Coffee/Breakfast:
We provide a Keurig machine with coffee pods for your enjoyment. The pods, dairy-free creamer, sweetener, and additional coffee supplies are available at the coffee bar.

Reading Material/Games:
The hallway closet contains an assortment of reading materials appropriate for all ages, as well as board and card games. The bottom two drawers contain kids’ toys and books.

Baby Items:
The high chair, pack-and-play, and baby gates are in the laundry room closet. The baby monitor is in the hallway closet drawer. A set of toddler kitchen essentials is in the kitchen cupboards.

Emergency:
The first aid kit is in the top drawer of the closet closest to the bathroom, and the fire extinguishers are underneath the kitchen sink.

Exercise Equipment:
Yoga mats are in the hallway closet. After each use, please wipe down the mats to ensure they are ready for the next guest.

Cleanings:
Mid-stay cleanings are available for your convenience. If you request a cleaning during the middle of your stay, please be aware that you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Photographers:
Please disclose the type of sessions you are doing and the number of clients you will have in the brick house. Remember, your clients will be your responsibility while in our home! Please share your pictures with us!
